Michelin Appoints Amaury Vadon as Vice-President Sales Africa India Middle-East and Managing Director of Sub-Saharan Africa Region

Michelin in South Africa today announced the appointment of Amaury Vadon as its new Managing Director, Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) effective 1st April 2024. Originally from France, Vadon brings with him a wealth of experience and a proven track record in sales, operations, and management garnered over his 12-year tenure at Michelin.

Vadon holds a master’s degree from EDHEC Business School and has served in various capacities within Michelin. His extensive background in sales, coupled with his strategic vision, makes him an ideal candidate to lead Michelin SSA into its next phase of growth and development. Based in the Sandton, Johannesburg office, Vadon will oversee all operations in the region.

Upon his appointment, Vadon expressed his commitment to furthering Michelin’s contribution to the economic development and growth of African countries, in line with the company’s core business pillars of Planet, Profit, and People.
