In commemoration of Mandela Day, the Eazi Access Johannesburg Team, were out and about, visiting some of our partner charity organisations in the community, with one goal in mind, to make a difference in the lives of others. This was in honour of the Late Nelson Mandela who said, “It is in your hands, to make a better world for all who live in it.”
The Team is a regular visitor at the St Janes Chantal Home, where they spent the morning, bearing gifts and groceries for children housed there. The St Janes Chantal Home is a non-profit institution taking care of HIV positive and abandoned children. They mostly arrive at the home undernourished and even traumatized. The home provides these children with food, shelter, education and basic medical care. Children who have been rejected by society are cared for in a loving family environment where their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs are met. The home has a range of children within their care, from 6-month-old babies to teenagers of up to 15 years old.

Other members of the Eazi Access Team took the opportunity to hand over a cheque of R60 000 to Manger Care Centre in Benoni. This donation is part of Eazi Access focused initiatives on Socio-Economic Development.
Manger Care Centre is a Benoni based non-profit organisation which provides shelter, uplifts and empowers vulnerable and destitute beneficiaries through its various initiatives. This is done through its feeding scheme, clothing, skills development, stay & pay opportunities, 12 Step Recovery programme, and Mental Health support services. Manger Care Centre also gives hope by providing psychological and spiritual guidance counselling and emotional support services. It strives to make its beneficiaries feel that they are valuable and worthy members of society.
The Eazi Access team on-site, were given a tour by one of the fundraisers, learning more about the various programs and projects offered by the centre. According to Tralone Lindiwe Khoza, Eazi Access PR & Communications Specialist, “We are delighted that we have continued our journey with Manger Care Centre. Eazi Access celebrates its 21st Birthday this year and it is important to recognise that this milestone would not have been possible without the incredible communities which we operate within. We look forward to continuing to contribute to those in need.”

Over the last several years, Eazi Access has been a long-standing donor and proud partner to Manger Care Centre, as both ascribe to the ethos of Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu, which says, 5″Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day but teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime,”. Through its various programs the destitute beneficiaries are assisted to get back on their feet and become financially fit to support themselves through the centre’s development and rehabilitation services.
Nonkululeko Mdlalose is one of the beneficiaries at Manger Care Centre who joined in 2021 following a major financial set back during COVID. Today she proudly shares that she has been trained and graduated in Animal Production and is in the process of registering her own farming business. She extends her heartfelt gratitude to Eazi Access for its gratuitous donation which will go a long way to help others like her, in need.
